About Kita Advisors

"Kita" is the inclusive "we" in Bahasa Indonesia and Malay, a "we" that includes the person you are speaking to, not just yourself. That is the idea behind this firm: we do not see ourselves as detached consultants delivering advice from a distance. We share your interests, understand your business, and work alongside you as part of the same "we." In Japanese, "kita" also means "north," a fitting nod to direction and guidance.

Why we exist

Businesses operating in Asia often face a real gap: finding tax advisors who combine deep international tax and transfer pricing expertise with the availability and responsiveness of a dedicated partner. This is especially true for CFOs and CEOs building a presence in Asia without an in-house tax team, and for tax professionals abroad who need a trusted partner on the ground.

We built Kita Advisors to fill that gap: senior tax advisors who have worked inside multinational companies, who can navigate complex tax issues to make clear business decisions.

The Founders

Kita Advisors was founded by Jordi Bonabosch and Jeremy Poh, two tax professionals with a combined track record across Big 4 firms and in-house roles at multinational companies in Europe and Asia. Jordi and Jeremy first met when Jeremy took over Jordi's role at a French liquor and spirits company in Singapore. They were later reunited at a French cosmetics company, where they built the working partnership that would eventually give rise to Kita Advisors.

Our network

Beyond our own expertise, we work with a curated network of independent tax firms across Asia, including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, China, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, so we can be a single point of contact for all your tax needs across the region.
